In 2013 Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Piedmont and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Greensboro merged. It is our mission to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. Most children served by Big Brothers Big Sisters are in single-parent and low-income families or households where a parent is incarcerated. As the nation’s largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”). It is Big Brothers Big Sisters vision to facilitate the success of children living right here in our community. We want to thank our board members, volunteers, donors, families, staff, Bigs and Littles for the dedication, commitment, hard work and support they provide to our organization year round.
