Big Brothers Big Sisters
All of our matches are professionally supported and a casemanager will work with you through the life of your match.Typical activities can be as simple as trip to the library or the park, or a day at the zoo. Anything that is safe, fun and a bonding experience between the Big and the Little. Make a difference in the life of a child and volunteer today. Process: To be a volunteer in our community based programs you must: submit to a background check, reference checks, a home visit, orientation/training, an interview, and monthly contact with a casemanager. To be a Big Brother or Big Sister in our Community Based Program, you must
be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation. In this program, volunteers pick
children up from their homes and spend one-on-one time with them in the community. Bigs spend an average
of 2-5 hours a week with their Little Brother or Little Sister building friendships.
