Bigs in Schools
 Become a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters if you are an adult, a college student or in high school, where little moments
equal big magic. Spend 1-3 hours each week sharing the little moments
in life with a local youth; spend an hour a week in the schools or in after school programs with your Little. Big Brothers Big Sisters
offers flexible programs and continual support and group activities
throughout your match. As a Big Brother or Big Sister, your life and
the life of a child will be forever changed!
Community Based
To be a Big Brother or Big Sister in our Community Based Program, you must
be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation. In this program, volunteers pick
children up from their homes and spend time with them in the Community. Bigs spend an average
of 2-5 hours a week with their Little Brother or Little Sister.
Our Kids
Big Brothers Big Sisters works with youth between the ages of 5-18 years of
age. Our children are from primarily low-income, single-parent households, but can be from
any situation and just be in need of a positive mentor. We work with children in High Point,
Jamestown, Randolph and Davidson Counties.
